My favorite lobster recipe

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Add the oil to a large pot of boiling salted water, add the pasta and cook al dente according to the directions on the package. Drain well.
Heat the milk in a small saucepan, but don't allow it to boil. In a large pot, melt 6 tablespoons of the butter and add the flour. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly with a whisk. Still whisking, add the hot milk and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until thickened and smooth. Off the heat, add the Gruyere, Cheddar, 1 tablespoon salt, the pepper and nutmeg and stir until the cheese melts. Stir in the cooked pasta and lobster. Pile the mixture into 6 to 8 (2-cup) gratin dishes.
Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, combine with the bread crumbs and sprinkle on top. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the sauce is bubbly and the pasta is browned on top.

Top 5 reasons to buy the MasterCraft X10

The X10 Surf Wake is quickly making a name for itself as a premier surf boat. Surfing continues to grow in Michigan. When buying a boat that can produce a great surf wake i would conciser the X10. The Surf Videos of the X10 equipped with Surf Tabs show just how easy and how great the surf wake can be with only stock ballast and 3 people in the boat. See it for yourself in this X10 surf video.
Reason #4 Auto Launch
MasterCraft’s 2013 boats now come standard with the new Auto Launch feature. Boats equipped with a trim plate and/or surf tabs will automatically deploy the tabs when pulling a wakeboarder up out of the water and then retract once on plane at around 15 mph. This reduces fuel consumption and time to plane as well as reduces bow rise. We tested this feature out last fall at the Factory with the PWT XStar and love the added safety and quickness to plane that Auto Launch provides.

Reason #3 ZFT4 Tower

It seems like almost every boat in our service center has a tower these days. Until last year towers were very practical for on water use, but inconvenient when storing the boat in a garage or boat lift. While it was possible to fold a tower with 1 person, they usually required 2 people to efficiently and safely fold the tower down. The ZFT4 has made this struggle a thing of the past! With an assisted lift tower and two simple latches, the ZFT4 can be handled easily by your kids, while the optional upgraded ZFT5P raises and lowers with just the push of a button.

Reason #2 Flip Seat

The new MasterCraft flip seat is currently available in the X10, X30, XStar, and conveniently changes the seating configuration from kitchen style around the table seating, to entertainment style theater seating to watch all the action. We first tested out the new flip seat in the 2013 XStar last fall and had everyone in the boat comfortably facing the rider. Once you’re done you simply lift the seat back into the stored position like any other MasterCraft model you remember. True to MasterCraft’s standards, the flip seat is built with a Billet Aluminum frame to last and doesn’t compromise any storage space!

Reason #1 Size and Versatility

When our customer’s boats arrive for fall service, we usually can find a combination of skis, wakeboards, wakesurfers, tubes, and more. If you’re kids like to wakeboard but you still love carving glass on a slalom ski, you value a boat that can do it all. The X10 is the new ultimate crossover boat that offers something for everyone in a 21′ size that can handle almost any waterway.

My england Vacation

Image result for Natural History Museum logo londonSo for about two weeks I have been away from school. First I was in England, my first stop was London. While in London my first stop was the Natural History Museum. In the museum most of the items in there was about the prehistoric dinosaurs  then it led to the now a day animals. After about an hour of looking at animals and learning the history behind it, the gems were next. The gems were so beautiful  they had at least 200 gems from all over the world.

Next was the london zoo it was a great experience but it was a little too cold for me, there was allsorts of animal in the zoo from each continent. But my favorite was the Penguin and the baby goats.

But at the say time I was thinking about some of the kids that were there. Everyday I get to go to the beach and scuba diving and see most of the fish. Then I could go on a boat to a place called stingray city and hold and feed stingrays, mean while some people in England can only see them threw a glass wall.

After three days in London we caught a train from London to Cambridge that was about an hour and fifteen minutes. Our trip was less exciting u we went to my step sister's graduation. For about 30 mins of that graduation I was out cold. It was so boring I couldn't keep my eyes open for one second. After all that torture we went to the hotel and I fell back to sleep and woke up to two loud mouth girl talking about where there taking my step sister.

Top 9 baoting apps

  1. Navionics Boating – GPS

Time and time again, when we speak to boaters and ask them what GPS app they’re using, Navionics Boating is the answer. Navionics is free to download and offers in-app purchases for charts and other upgrades, such as autorouting.
  1. NOAA SuperRes Radar HD

In order to enjoy the day safely on the water, a close eye must be kept on the weather. If you’re on iOS, in our experience the best radar app is NOAA’s SuperRes Radar. It has very hi-resolution and incredible accuracy. If you are on an Android device, RadarScope is just as good and accesses the same data. These apps are not only good for boating, but just great to have any time you want to see what kind of weather is rolling in.

  1. Windfinder

Ideal for sailors, kitesurfers, windsurfers and more, this app allows you to see the wind, waves and weather across the globe in real time.
  1. USA Tides

If you boat and/or fish in saltwater, having the latest marine tide information at your fingertips is invaluable.

  1. Animated Knots

Animated Knots by Grog is a broad teaching and reference tool for boaters and other hobbyists. With step-by-step instructions and, you guessed it, frame-by-frame animations, this app teaches you to tie knots at your own pace.

  1. FishingScout

A great resource and social app for anglers. The app allows you to upload photos of your latest catch, describe the conditions of how you caught it, study other locations where fish were caught, add friends, view their photos and more. Available for free on both iOS and Android.
  1. Dockwa

The Dockwa app allows boaters to view marinas in their location, select a destination and request a slip or mooring, all from their mobile device. Once the marina approves the reservation, payment is processed seamlessly through the app.
  1. Swell Advantage

Swell Advantage is a social boating app that lets you see where your family and friends are out on the water, including where they are headed and their speed. Custom notifications inform you when family and friends get on the water.

  1. Boatrax

Boatrax lets you keep detailed records of your boat while capturing and sharing your moments with family and friends. You can share your location and photos with friends and the boating community.

Top boating fails

1) Launching the Boat Without Putting in the Plug

This is probably the most common mistake people make. Usually, the excitement of putting in your boat trumps the thought of putting in your plug. Here’s a simple rule to follow: don’t assume the plug is in and always double check. If you’re trailering your boat, we recommend putting your plug in an obvious location (tie it to your steering wheel for example) when taking it out so you can’t miss it when the time comes to drop it back in

2) Overloading the Boat

`Every boat has a capacity limit that is dictated by either the amount of people or weight limit. This mistake can be easily avoided by knowing what the boats capacity is and managing the people on board.

3) Boating Under the Influence

There is something to be said about a boat ride while enjoying your favorite beverage. However, there is a difference between doing that and being irresponsible. Similar to a car, you can’t operate a boat while intoxicated. Michigan’s legal blood alcohol limit while driving the boat is .08 or above. If you’re above that, you run the risk of getting a BUI (Boating Under the Influence). Stay safe!

Image result for mahi mahi fishThis weekends was pretty fun. It all started on Friday at my friends Matts. We started by playing dominoes and chilling with a little back ground music till 4:00 am. the next day we loaded the boat again and went right out the channel following a bird. We slacked out two lines and the bird started diving. Instantly we had a fish on, got him in the boat and I tried to take him off the hook and it bit my hand. While I was fighting with the fish on the deck there was another one thrown on the deck. We putout more lined and hooked up on one last one and headed in.

This weekend was the greatest

This weekend was lit. About five o'clock in the morning I go up and loaded up the boat, and headed down the canal to go get a friend Dylan. Around 5:30 we were cutting across the north sound. as we got out the channel we slacked out two lines and started heading east. With in 30 min we had a hit, Dylan went to that rod and started fighting about 3 mins later it was a flippen barra. Later that day we were about 20 ft from a boat and bam! hooked up. We pulled up a little dolphin. Then we slacked out a squid and hooked up on a dolphin. About 20 mins we hooked up on two more dolphin then headed in.Displaying FullSizeRender.jpg

The latest weekend before summer ended

The weekends in the Cayman Islands are the greatest. Almost every weekend i'm on the water going fishing, tubing, wake-boarding, or knee-boarding. Sometimes I casually  just go to a place called Rumpoint. These last few weekends have been pretty good, I meet up with a couple of my boys and we went out on the boats and jet-skis. We had a couple of mess ups but it was fun.
